Born and raised in Pittsford, Vermont, Robb graduated from Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon, Vermont in 1999. Robb then attended Clark University in Worcester, MA where he earned a BA in Communications. Following working for several years for City Year Boston, a National Service Organization, Robb attended Vermont Law School and graduated with his JD in 2009.
As an attorney, Robb quickly earned a reputation for professionalism, determination, and success working with Prisoner’s Rights in Montpelier and then as a Staff Attorney with the Burlington Public Defender’s Office. Returning to Rutland County to raise a family in 2010, Robb began working as a Public Defender Staff Attorney in Rutland where he continued to practice Criminal Law, including felonies and life sentence cases, as well as DUI law. While working in Rutland, Vermont, Robb personally initiated and preserved several appeals which the Vermont Supreme Court decided in favor of his clients. During his time in Rutland, Vermont, Robb also won numerous jury trials, received many favorable lower court decisions, and argued hundreds of motions for his clients while acquiring valuable experience in areas such as negotiation, evidence, and preparation.
